Caripes people lets get down to brass tacks. The reality is that the Bucks will have to play without Beanie being the rock he was supposed to be.
Having said that, I believe we have the kids, the talent, and the staff we need to win this game. tOSU is not a slouch in games of this magnitude. Jt isn't a slouch either. We are a top tier football program and we can beat anybody else we face. Sure , we don't win them all but we can win our share. Just getting to play these games as much as we do is a bonus for each and every one of us. And for all of College football too. I look forward to using up a Trojan tonight. ![]() GO Buckeyes |

I posted this over at BN in regard to a conspiacy theory. So, in that context, what is said may not directly apply to the above post. My feelings nonetheless. Quote:

I would doubt very seriously that JT gives a rats behind what Vegas is doing in response to his comments.

Coach Jim Tressel said he will hold Wells and his injured right foot out of a game tonight against top-ranked Southern California.
Tressel said Wells was not ruled out by the team's medical staff; he made the call. "Typically, the doctors will (say), 'Here's my opinion,' but it's all on how you feel," Tressel said. "So I just think, as I listen to the doctors and as I think about the situation, I think a decision had to be made. BuckeyeXtra - The Columbus Dispatch : Tressel says he won't play Wells Had to be a tough desicion by Tress, I find it hard to believe that with whats on the line and you know Beanie wants to play plus the Medical staff not ruling him out, that Tressel would come out the night before and decide not to play him. Why, if the medical staff didnt rule him out would Tress not play him? |

I think Tressel is an honest, upstanding guy. He has never struck me as sleazy or underhanded. If he comes out and tells the media Beanie won't play, I believe him. The guy just doesn't seem to be the type to lie to the fans and the media to gain a minimal tactical advantage.
