I doubt he probably would get a chance to actually talk to him (but who knows) but I can't think of a better person for Greg to talk to about his future than David Robinson.

A deadpan comedian; Foes don't find trying to stop Oden funny

Oden ignores struggles
Buckeyes big man just wants to win
By Stephen Hawkins
Associated Press
SAN ANTONIO ? Greg Oden scored less and was hounded by foul trouble again. Then he needed as many stitches as he had rebounds to close up a nasty cut on his chin.
Still, Ohio State?s 7-foot, 270-pound freshman was feeling better, not frustrated Friday ? even though he rubbed his forehead and mostly stared down at his feet on the interview podium a day after Ohio State withstood another close call and moved within a victory of the Final Four.
?I think I did a pretty decent job. It was more about effort and not about me scoring,? Oden said. ?It was about me being out and running the floor and creating things for my teammates. It was the effort that I felt I had a pretty decent game.?

Foul days for Bucks' big man
Saturday, March 24, 2007 Doug Lesmerises
Plain Dealer Reporter
San Antonio -- So far, Greg Oden hasn't heard a college official utter the words that helped drive Shaquille O'Neal out of LSU to the NBA 15 years ago when he complained about a foul that wasn't called.
"Be quiet, you're 7-foot."
Oden and his Ohio State coaches have felt that way much of the season though. They spent the Big Ten schedule wondering why opponents weren't called for beating on Oden, Buckeyes coach Thad Matta on Friday confirming the Oden strategy Xavier coach Sean Miller told him opponents employ -- "Foul him, they won't call them all."

MEN'S NCAA TOURNAMENT
Oden shows off his wit, wisdom
By Mark Gokavi
Staff Writer

SAN ANTONIO ? Sometimes funny, sometimes serious, but always insightful, Ohio State's Greg Oden showed the national media a personality big enough to match his 7-foot, 280-pound frame.
Some highlights of his 30-minute Q&A session Friday:
? About life in the dorm with his fellow freshmen ? "My mom's not there. It's kind of dirty. We take out the trash like every five weeks. No, we've got David Lighty, he's pretty clean. So that's nice. Daequan (Cook) has (a George Foreman grill). Everybody uses it."
? Asked what he'd like to buy ? "Movies." Asked to clarify what he'd buy if he had a bunch of money: "Best Buy ... and use it like a toy store.

• On why he would have gone to college even if the NBA draft rule didn't exist — "I don't feel I was ready to go right after high school. I've just got to keep on improving my game. I feel I've got a lot of work to still do. Offensively, being able to score.
