By no means am I a basketball expert, but I don't see this. He has gotten into foul trouble with Charges and tickey tack fouls.

I see Oden as being extremely raw offensively and still learning some on the defensive side (reaches too much for blocks, getting fouls called on him)

Anyone else that knows more than I?

Tonight's frontcourt is unlike any other in the nation... OSU can often get away with Terwilliger & Hunter against one big, but handling two giants (horford, noah, richards) at once is a completely different ball game.

I couldn't agree more and it doesn't even have to be a solid 30 minutes of offense, but rather just a solid 30 minutes in all. D and rebounding will be extremely tough to come by (IMO) tonight without Greg's presence in the paint.

I would also like to thank Greg Oden for me getting the chance to watch him play college basketball for the Ohio State Buckeyes. This was truly a pipe dream not that long ago, and the dividends Greg Oden is going to pay for Ohio State has got to be off the charts. Greg, every game is not meant to be won, but you have done more than your share to restore respect and pride to the entire Buckeye basketball program, and for that I thank you. It truly has been a blessing to witness this season.

I love watching Oden shake every member of the opposing team after win of loss, whether it's an OOC game or the NC game. I noticed how Butler and maybe even a few others headed off to the locker room (which is fine, don't get me wrong) and thought it was particularly classy of Greg tonight after playing 38 minutes. Greg is a genuine good guy and showed he has the heart of a champion the way he played tonight and was mad when he sat for 2 minutes.

Greg has done so much for this program in just one year. It'd would be selfish for us to be mad at him for leaving. His post moves tonight were smooth and very effective...one of his up and unders reminded me a little of Tim Duncan, and his blocks off the backboard were very Bill Russellesque.

Who knows, he may not fully turn in to the next Bill Russell or David Robinson, but he will be the only Greg Oden.

Thanks for all the effort and extra pratice when you were injured, Greg. Tonight showed the nation that you really do live up to the hype and won't back down from anything.

Good luck with whatever you decide. I'm sure it will be well thoughtout and the best for you and your family.

Couldnt agree more...All the things that Oden did for this program in terms of putting us back on the national stage in basketball...

If he comes back I do believe that would put us as the favorite for next year...If not good luck in the NBA and I am sure that you will make us all proud there...
