I wonder how Portland will fit Aldridge, Randolph, and Oden into the lineup...
Anyways, Rashard Lewis is definitely going onto the market this year now that Seattle gets Durant. If they keep him, imagine a lineup of Ray Allen, Rashard Lewis, and Kevin Durant coming at you on the fast break. |

I want the Magic to get Rashard.

I was hoping Oden would be in the eastern conference....the west is clearly the better conference and now they got that much better.

That was one of the dumbest things I have ever heard.

Wilbon shut him down pretty hard on that prediction.

Portland isn't that bad a situation if you think about it. He will be part of a deep backcourt, they have one of the best young guards in the game(Roy). The organization isn't as bad as it once was. The only downside will be the 1030 starts and the little national television Portland gets(though I imagine that changes this year).
Tomorrows Bill Simmons column should be one of the best ever too. |

I'm not disputing that by any means. Aside from the Pistons, Cavs, Bulls, there isn't an elite team in the East. Now, as a fan of one of those teams, I'm not complaining, but yeah, HUUUUUUUUUGE difference in parity now.
As a basketball fan though, the West looks to be incredibly competitive and fun for the next five or so years at least. Next years draft also looks incredibly pathetic, so I bet Boston gets the number one next year(hello OJ Mayo!!!). |

bingo. I think the West is so hard to get out of to get to the finals that the East doesn't have to expend as much energy. The East finals participant usually has one tough series. I do understand what you are saying Buckguy, but the West looks to be much stronger for the foreseeable future.
