That's what I saw, NJB. That concerned me the pain was that great AFTER the tape job. I guess we'll have to wait and see. If it's really bad they should consider letting him sit against SDSU to avoid further complication.

Since gobucks' post was edited, I'll make this a but more worthwhile...

Carp and the other LBs are definitely warriors and nothing would have kept them out of this game...I think he'll get some rest this week and be back full strength by Saturday...I was surprised that he doesn't tape his ankles though, I thought that it was pretty common for just about everyone on the field to tape up, combine that with the fact that AJ doesn't inflate his helmet and Schlegel's boar hunting and you start to question our LB's sanity :P Also, I failed miserably at distributing rubies to the poster above

It just wouldn't be the same. Our cheerleader's outfits don't have that low of neckline. However, if they did I'm sure there would be a lot more cheering from the fans, etc.

It was odd to hear from the announcers that Carp doesnt tape his ankles at all. This may have been a leading cause, but Im not sure. Him not taping his ankles could be a superstition or just something he does for his own personal wants. I know that Hawk deflates the air out of his helmet to make it loose in the games (when he hits an opponent, it will hurt the other guy more). Carp is a beast though, and we should play him minimal against SDSU, maybe throw Kerr or Freeman in for majority of the game?

I couldn't even go to walk though practices without taping my ankles.
I did, however, let the hot girl student trainers tape my ankles for lesser practices. I only let the head trainer tape me up if we were full go. It's strangely arousing having a hot chick jamming her boobs into your foot while she tapes your ankles. I think I said too much.
