HE stated that he had a leg contusion and that he was expected to play this week.

He was actually favoring the leg before he broke off the long run in the 4th quarter. I thought he was going to ask out of the game. If he was healthy he probably wouldn't have run out of bounds. Looked like his thigh was bothering him.

Tressel said Pittman was complaining about his quad on his tv show I believe, but that was pretty preliminary

as bucknutty said.....pittman dinged his right leg on the play before he broke it down the sideline...he actually put his hand up to come out of the game...but was left in.....

thats why he took it out of bounds....smart move by the kid...its a long season...real smart move....

EDIT: Oh btw, running out of bounds wasn't smart, he stopped the clock. Sliding down in bounds would have been smart. Freshman mistake, and not a major one in this game, but I'll bet he's been told about it.
