I did not see his stats for today's game, but he does not seem to be having as good of a start as last year. Perhaps he will have a less then stellar year and stick around for 1 more. I think AJ Hawk had a down year also.

![]() James has 14 tackles and a sack so far. What year did A.J. have a "down year"? |

If you are referring to Hawk, he played 4 seasons.

Also, for the people that are worried about James leaving. Sweat doesn't really know what he is talking about. Sweat was just figuratively speaking and I think he just wants Laurinaitis to leave early so that he can have an easier chance of getting a spot at MLB, but it will be tough with Spitler there anyways. Laurinaitis said he will not even make that desicion until the season is over. There are some key factors though that make it look like he will be staying. James doesn't need money right away to support family members because his dad was a professional wrestler and is pretty wealthy. James' little sister Jessica also goes off to college next year. She is planning on going to Ohio State and she will be on the girls hockey team as well. Another reason why James would stay is what many people think is that he wants to follow in the footsteps of Hawk. I personally think James is going to stay for his senior year. But, it all depends on how well he does this year. If he has an amazing year and they win a national championship he may decide to go pro, but I think another factor he would stay is next year we have a decent shot at winning a national title as well. No one knows for sure what James is going to do. But, right now there are more positives then negatives on James staying. |

So, do you speak in the third person often, James?

I think James will stay as well... I think he knows 1 more year of seasoning would probably mean top 10 pick.. If he comes out he might go late first round. James is an amazing player! As for sweat... even if he does come in he'll be a special team player the first year because Spitler is a man child at MLB too! Plus Gibson, Freeman, and HOMAN will be all in front of sweat
Not to mention Moeller as well. If there is one player who I like to see on the field its #38 for some reason I think he's a tremendous linebacker. He hasn't really made a huge amount of plays but he always seems to be "there" |

lol, I know it was intended for a joke. The internet is almost always sarcasm related, I was just messing around. If he would have meant something I am sure I would have added a couple other unneccesary words in there. But, in a way he did criticize my post, just not in a bad way. But anyways, you are right only time will tell. Lets just hope he stays, he will end up making the right desicion though whatever it would be. Because next year it is not like we don't have a good backup or anything if indeed Laurinaitis would go pro. I am sure Spitler is capable of handling MLB, I am seeing a lot of good things out of him already and he is just a backup. |
