WR Devin Jordan (official thread)
I can't find this posted anywhere else, and I just read it in the Dispatch...
http://www.dispatch.com/football/foo...827-D4-00.html
Injury update
Tressel said the status for the opener of senior fullback Branden Joe (high ankle sprain) and junior defensive end Mike Kudla (neck strain) still isn’t clear. They were the only projected starters to go down in preseason camp. But Tressel said receiver Devin Jordan was lost for the season after suffering a broken bone in his lower right leg this week. Walk-on lineman Daniel Dye also will miss the season after undergoing knee surgery.

Wasnt Jordan from Massilon? I was hoping him and Zwick would hook up on some TDs this year.

I read that too... For a moment I was thinking Devon Lyons.. Good luck healing Devin. Watch some film, use your rehab to get stronger and faster and show us what you can do in 05.

Yeah he is...I think he came in the year after Zwick did. I was looking for them to hook up a ton over the next couple of years. Our WR depth is a slight concern to me. Hall and Holmes should be solid, and I guess this will also give Tony Gonzalez and John Hollins and Bam Childress some more time on the field. Another thing that just came to mind is that this is probably one less reason why Ginn wouldn't see the field at WR at some point early this year...

Wasn't Tyson Walter around for a sixth year, unfortunately?
