Just more than two weeks after signing with the St. Louis Rams, Paris Lenon will be in the starting lineup.

The veteran is expected to get the nod Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, taking the place of David Vobora, who was suspended four games for violation of the league?s policy on steroids and related substances. This, according to the Twitter account of agent Nate Haber, who represents Larry Grant, the player Lenon was competing with for the job

looks like Larry will be a starter with the Witherspoon trade today....

Witherspoon indicated he would be in the lineup Monday when the Eagles play Washington. In St. Louis, Paris Lenon will move into Witherspoon?s starting spot at weakside linebacker, with Larry Grant starting at strongside linebacker this Sunday against Indianapolis.

Lenon will line up alongside rookie James Laurinaitis in the middle and second-year pro Larry Grant on the strongside. It'll be Grant's first NFL start.

"It's a great opportunity for me," Grant said. "I'm excited ... very excited."

Grant's duties at times Sunday will include covering prolific tight end Dallas Clark, whose 88.2-yards-per-game average is exceeded by only three other receivers ? all wideouts.

"It's a chance not only for me but for the rest of our defense; we've got a lot to prove," said Grant, 6-1 and 251. "We know that we've got to prepare for a great, powerful offense with Manning and Clark and all the playmakers they have."
