Fortunately Florida's run offense isnt one we are generally worried about. As long as he can run basically pain free, then he should be able to play and cover in pass defense. Yes he will eventually have to make a tackle but I would figure that its better tackling those WR's than a bruising tailback or fullback on a sweep, with shoulder injury. I would bet unless he does have surgery that he will be in this game.

OSU corner Smith expected to play
Tressel said, "I'm anticipating he will be fine to play."
http://www.cleveland.com/sports/plai...720.xml&coll=2 Hard to say how bad or good Smith?s shoulder will be. Hopefully it will not limit him. The same I guess can be said about Ray McDonald. My guess is that UF says he is 95% but that is probably not the case. I expect a significant brace on McDonald?s elbow. |

CB Smith rises from walk-on status Jeff Metcalfe The Arizona Republic Jan. 5, 2007 12:00 AM How is it that a four-year walk-on is not only starting at cornerback for No. 1 Ohio State, but an All-Big Ten player? "From day one, he was never looked at as a walk-on because of his work ethic," defensive coordinator Jim Heacock said Thursday of Antonio Smith. "He's a very, very intelligent young man. He knew the defense backwards and forward, he studies film. If there is any lack of ability he would have, he could make us for it being in the right spot, knowing what to do." |

Smith reaps hard work's rewards By Kelly Whiteside, USA TODAY SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. ? This doesn't happen every day. Or really ever. Antonio Smith, a kid from Columbus, a pretty good high school player but not very big, finds that no one is too interested in offering him a football scholarship. Some Mid-American Conference schools want him to walk-on. But Smith instead receives an academic scholarship from Ohio State. He likes its engineering program and joins his hometown team as a walk-on. Continued ... |

Anyone have any guesses where he'll fall in the draft?

I don't think he'll be drafted. He'll get picked up through free agency.
