OF Nick Swisher (World Champion New York Yankees)
Former Buckeye and current Oakland A's OF Nick Swisher hit his first major league home run today off Toronto's Sean Douglass.
Nick currently leads the league with .600 BA, .778 OBP, 1.400 SLG, & 2.178 OPS.

    Swisher rounded the bases twice on Wed. Nick is batting .308 with 2 homers and 3 RBIs in 3 games.

I would but I am already playing two prospects in Jeremy Reed and Clint Barmes (my absolute steal at the end of the draft)...if he keeps this up over the weekend though look for Swisher to be the next member of Finnigan's Revenge.

My wife went to middle school with this guy. He moved out of state for high school and Bob Todd recruited him back to OSU. Coach Todd's daughter also went to school with both my wife and Nick so he had contact with Coach Todd from a young age. He has turned into a great ball player that plays infield or outfield and is on fire at the plate.
