His bio from the official site:
Note that the fact about only 2 Buckeyes have led the team in tackles for 3 seasons is out of date. A.J. Hawk became the third Buckeye to achieve that disctinction last season.

Steve Tovar
Linebacker 1989-92
Steve Tovar is another in the great line of Ohio State linebackers. A two-time All-America selection in 1991 and 1992, he has the distinction of being the first of 21 players recruited by John Cooper to earn All-America status at Ohio State. Tovar led Ohio State in tackles for three-consecutive seasons between 1990-92, one of only two Buckeyes ever to accomplish that feat (Marcus Marek, 1980-82, is the other). In his senior year, Tovar was elected team co-captain and earned Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year honors (selected by the conference coaches) after recording 128 tackles. A three-time All-Big Ten selection, Tovar ranks fourth in school history with 414 total tackles and 239 solo tackles. The Elyria, Ohio native was a third round selection by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 1993 NFL Draft.

Tovar spent the 2004 and 2005 football seasons with the Army Black Knights, coaching linebackers under head coach Bobby Ross. He then joined the Miami Dolphins staff, under coach Nick Saban. In 2007, Tovar joined the coaching staff of the future National Champions University of Kansas Jayhawks under Mark Mangino as linebackers coach.

Kansas tags former NFL LB Tovar to coach 'backers
March 7, 2007
CBS SportsLine.com wire reports
LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Kansas hired former NFL linebacker Steve Tovar as its linebackers coach on Wednesday.
Tovar, 36, spent last season as a defensive assistant with the Miami Dolphins. Before that, he was Army's linebackers coach for two years.
After a standout career at Ohio State, Tovar was taken in the third round of the 1993 NFL Draft. He played eight seasons in the league with the Cincinnati Bengals, San Diego Chargers and Carolina Panthers.
"Steve coaches with the same drive and intensity he displayed as a player," coach Mark Mangino said in a release announcing Tovar's hiring. "He's very bright and will be an excellent teacher of schemes and fundamentals. We are very pleased to have him join our staff."
