I saw a nice framed, personally signed picture of Speilman that was for sale (they made a certain, limited number of them) when I was at OSU this fall at the Hall of Fame Cafe. The proceeds from the sales go to the charity foundation that Chris and Stephanie set up. That's a real nice way to support the cause, and get a very cool piece of Buckeye memorabilia at the same time.

It's the same thing with my mother, and her friend, and not all that uncommon. My mother goes about 2 years before she needs chemo again (which she is on again now). It sure can make the holidays a bit less jovial...My prayers go to the Spielman family as my family deals with the same set of circumstances. She seems like a fighter, and as long as that is the case, she should be good.

Bucklion - I'm pretty sure Stephanie Spielman's cancer started out as breast cancer. That's how my mother's started as well, and she never had any "treatment" unless the cancer was active. Dr. visits and checkups aside, if she is in treatment, it's not a good sign. If the cancer has come back, it will probably spread, and it's very rare that any one person can go through chemo twice.
