I think that some forget that Zwick played with a team that had not found it's identity last season. It's kind of hard to pass the ball when you have 1 second to throw it.

here is my 2 cents on this issue as a whole.

if troy smith is eligible to play against texas, he will. he may not start, he may not even play the first half, but he will play, especially if the offense is struggling.

if smith is suspended for two more games, its not the end of the world. will it make beating texas more difficult, certainly. but if zwick plays the way he did in the alamo, osu most certainly can win.

as of yesterday, bruce hooley's sources and steve snapp were both saying that they don't think that this incident will affect smith's eligibility. whether or not that remains true will be seen at a later time.
