The reason this bothers me is that it has so many potential ramifications on the rest of the program...but it's useless to speculate until we know what this offense is. Is the university suspending him, or is the NCAA? I'm nervous.....I'm really nervous.

the ol' darnell dockett routine....darnell dockett of fsu was suspened several games for taking improper benefits at a local mall(warrick dunn's store). The clerk was fired and Darnell Dockett was arrested for stealing. The clerk decided to giver there own discount, which Darnell gladly took and was disciplined for. IF this is similar to what Troy did I am not as concerned as I was. I shopping spree by Troy likely means he was hooked up by another studnet at a store and it's an isolated situation. I hope I'm right.

I read OSAU is petitioning the NCAA to reinstate Troy for 2005... not good, but not too bad if they are petitioning for reinstatment (at lease that's how I read it... he did something bad, but the university will not get punished for it)...

I sure hope this doesn't spread to a university type thing...

.......per 610-WTVN.....Smith was seen spending a lot money at establishments with one-hundred dollar bills following the Michigan game. Someone tipped off the university and they busted Troy. Apparently Troy has admitted to it and the University has petitioned for his reinstatment for the 2005 season.
