Yes - but I think you can deduce from JT's statement that both Zwick AND Boeckman are practicing better than Smith.
Remember when JT went out of his way to praise Boeckman in the spring and fall; when Boeckman got all of those pass attempts in the spring game?
Maybe there is something to that - maybe I'm reading to much into a sound bite.

Much of what Coach T says can be interpreted several ways. I can see your point. Ultimately, I don't think Todd will see the field this year unless JZ and TS are both hurt. They don't want to blow his redshirt year. |

Serious Troy Smith Question
The local ABC switched to the Texas game for the 4th quarter. Did Troy ever get a chance to get out of the pocket on a designed play? One of the announcers commented about how OSU never has the QB throw on the run and considering how effective it has been against our D this year (NW, Wisc and Iowa), I thought maybe it might work for us as well. |
