i see people jumping to the exact same conclusions they did at this point last season. troy smith finally found his groove and that we suddenly have a prolific offense again. im not saying either statement is untrue. we certainly have the talent. but forgive me if im not as quick to jump on the ole bandwagon this time around.

findlay, i brought up the rushing stats because i figured someone would reply with, "he doesn't throw as much because he runs for so many yards".

We're facing , outside of scUM, 2 of the weakest defenses in college football! Smith should be able to light em up, big time. And scUM's defense is ranked 51st!

Troy Smith is now at 165.1...and only Drew Olson (UCLA), Brian Brohm (Lousiville), Justin Holland (CSU), Matt Leinart (USC), and Marcus Vick (VT)...went into today with higher QB ratings.

Looks like Drew Stanton had a 22/30 252 yards 1 TD 1 INT day...which gives him a modest 148 rating today...but that will drop him a little bit.

Therefore...the new #1 QB in passing efficiency in the Big 10....TROY SMITH!!!

Believe it! He's become as efficiant of a passer as anybody in the country! I mean...13 TDs with only 3 INTs? And we wanted to bench this guy for Justin Zwick?!?! I wouldn't bench this guy for anybody in the Big 10 right now!
