35' verticle on a lineman... *visualizes arrington leaping over the oline for a sack* *visualizes same play with the buckeyes on defense* nice...

Look who just became a huge key to next season in terms of leadership. With the exodus on defense, the mighty Quinn is one of the few proven commodities. I thought he had a great season this past year, and can't wait to watch him in 2006.

Quinn Pitcock, DT, Ohio State: Bullish defensive tackle whose combination of 6-3, 295-pound frame and rare pure strength make him one of top run defending interior linemen to watch for in the 2007 draft. Pitcock has earned starting action each of the past three seasons, but didn't develop into a full-time starter until last season. Pitcock lacks quickness off the snap and isn't a pass rush threat, but his ability to stand up blockers at the point of attack, locate the ball, shed and make the tackle has scouts interested. |

Pitcock is going to be a monster this year. Get ready for the D line this year, they are going to be one of the best in the country. Wilson and Pitcock will be All Big Ten, and receive All American mention. They remind me a bit of the Texas line from last season.

"Pitcock lacks quickness off the snap"? Tell that to the NW guard who missed him when he blocked the punt. He may not be a speed demon, but he got a lot of push against both Michigan and Notre Dame. I'll second the motion, if Pitcock stays healthy, he'll make a serious run at All-American honors.

pitcock sure didn't lack much speed racing down that fake FG in the alamo bowl.
