He definitely can throw it. I've heard he's not always the most consistent, but you would be a fool to think he cannot pass against you. If you scour the internet you can find out how to watch rivals videos for free (I'm not gonna post that info here)... watch the 5th teddy ginn video. He throws quite well in that one.

If what I hear is right, and Ginn CAN throw decently well, I think he SHOULD throw a couple times throughout the season. If he throws during the Miami game just once, then Texas won't be able to simply try to contain him on an end-around, or he'll throw right over them. They'll know that they have to stay back, and running lanes will be open. However, I just don't see Tressel calling a play where Ginn throws it. I would love to see it happen, but my prediction is that Tressel won't call it.

Okie State showed us the basic plan how teams will gameplan for Ginn, not entirely effectively! But Ginn will impact field position and help the offense and defense! Ginn, is going to have to make most of his big plays as a WR! That is where teams will have a tougher time gameplanning because of the "other weapons", around him!

I agree with Bucklion.
It will be great if teams punt away from him. Remember Okie St.? Cluster f**k at it's best. I do think he would be better as a threat if he is smoothly incorporated into the base rather than a trick guy. Teams will key on him naturally giving our other weaps the keys to the endzone....it is soooo good thinkin' on the possibilities with TG2, Holmes, Gonzo Lyons/Dukes and Pittman /Haw(?) catching out of the backfield...wow. Spinning D-coors heads a rollin.

Like I said, I'd love to see it happen. I would LOVE to see the first play of the season be a reverse-pass deep, Ginn to Holmes. This info leads me to believe that my prediction very well may be wrong. This is one time I wouldn't mind being wrong.

I just have a question. For punt returns, do you think we'll get a lot of blocked punts this year because maybe the punter wants to hold the ball as long as possible to let the coverage get down to #7/#4? This is not considering a punt block formation (unless the situation calls for it), but maybe that delay gives our athletes a better chance to bust through the line/get around the corner. I know we aren't exactly VT in the punt blocking department, which isn't a big issue, but maybe we see more of this.

It would be interesting to read your thoughts.
