They just had a bit on channel 7 in Dayton last night about Cook. Watching him practice I think he made 9 shots in a row from different spots on the floor. He glides when he jumps, dunking effortlessly and sees everyone on the court. He could put OSU basketball back in business!

SCOUT
Per latest update: “It’s really been about the same as most of the same schools remain in the picture,” Powell told Bearcat Insider. “It’s really Ohio State, Michigan, North Carolina, and Wake Forest. Cincinnati is still involved.” He will be on a unofficial visit to tOSU on 27 Feb. |

This guy goes to college, not a doubt about it. And I also think he's an OState guy if he stays in the midwest. The only school to worry about here is the Tar Heels. That's it.
Come this summer, I see this thread getting a lot bigger here, and on Bucknuts. There is no difference between Daequan and Hairston. He's an absolute must get. |

there is no way oden figures into any of this college talk. if he went pro this year he would be the #1 pick most likely. i see cook coming to michigan where he belongs and conley going to wake leaving tOSU in the cold.

Oden has said in the past that he is going to college up to this point, but obviously things can change. |

I think it is worth noting that Wake just got a commit this weekend from Jamie Skeen, 6-8 215 lb. from Charlotte. He is listed in the Rivals database as the #24 SF in the country and the #93 player overall. In the Scout database, Skeen is listed as a Top 100 player. Most of the Wake gurus think they will have 6 schollies for the 2006 class, of which they will use 5. For what it's worth, most of them are already counting Conley as a part of the 2006 haul.
Wake also got a three-star SG in the 2005 class...Harvey Hale from Albuquerque, NM, ranked by Rivals as the #45 SG and the #148 player overall. |
