I do not for even a nanosecond think OSU gets anything more than its current self imposed ban on post season. The current environment of the NCAA and conference bodies is that they want Universities taking a much more active role in self policing. The NCAA wants member universities to impose self discipline that is in line with previous precidents.

Member universities do not get 3 year probation for giving a recruit $6000.00 for the benefit of a recruits family in a war torn country. Furthermore, the recruit in question did not attend Ohio State. OSU took severe action with the coach in question, in terminating the coach.

if osu got further sanctions it wont be for the $6000 gift. It will be for any infractions discovered as a result of the Salyers lawsuit.

According to Kyle Lamb's latest chat session, he feels that OSU has a very, very, good shot with Cook, he didnt want to use the dreaded "L" word but in the end he thinks he ends up with OSU.

We'll see. Wake is still going to be a player, as DCook has strong ties to his AAU team and teammate Mike Conley, who is considered to be a Wake lock. I just don't see Conley wanting to come to OSU, because Butler will be a junior, and will have two more years to start at the point. So, I think DCook is going to have to choose OSU on his own.

I think in the end Cook will decide where to go regardless of where Conley decides to. Cook is needed at TOSU and i think that is where he wants to be.

I'm confident Cook will be a Buckeye and I'm getting pretty positive about Chichester too.Cook looks to me as a kid who wants to be the reason OSU gets back to being Big Ten Champs....

Looks like Dunbar will play Upper Sandusky in the state semis. I think if Dunbar is as good as advertised they will take out Upper as I watched them against St. Mary's in the regional semis and they give up lots of points, but score lots of points. They have the two Diebler brothers that are going to Valpo, so we will have to watch and see what Cook can do.

Will this game be on ONN.

You did not see Upper at their best crazybuckfan40. Upper is by far the best team in D2, it will take a great effort by Dunbar to beat them. Although, it could happen, I don't see it happening. As for BOTH the Diebler boys going to Valpo, I seriously doubt that. Jake (the senior) planned on playing for the Army next year, but did not pass a physical before this year. He then had to scramble around and find a new scholarship. Valpo then offered him, only if his brother Jon (the sophomore, who is a much better prospect) would verbal with him. I could be wrong, but I would have to believe Jon did it so his brother Jake could get in at Valpo. I wont be suprised to see Jon start pursuing bigger programs after Jake has signed his National LOI. Jon is one of the best shooter in the state, and is 6'6. Im sure there are bigger programs looking at him, especially since he is only a sophomore.

I haven't seen the other teams play this year but i think it will come down to LINDEN VS DUNBAR for the championship in D2. I think Cook will win it in his future house!!!

All I know is that St. Mary's is no where as quick as Dunbar and Upper don't have anyone to inside to stay with Dunbar's big guy that is 6'9" I believe so we will just have to see.

ASVSM had a big post in Wilson 6'6 or 6'7, and were very quick. Now, I am not saying Upper is going to run away with the championship this weekend, but it is going to take a huge effort from Dunbar to beat them.

WOW!!! I did not know they beat them that bad. How many did Johnson from Akron have.

Also I heard Upper's only win by less than double digits was when they beat st. Mary's by 9.

I still think it should be a close game tho.
