Please tell me that the forty time is incorrect. If that is true I can see why a school down south would us slohio. I also love the stable of linebackers we get but how many offers a year go out to LB's. Sometimes it seems we have more of these guys than DB's. But if they keep turnin out great oh well.

The 2009 Glenville class already seems as/more talented than the 2008 class. And you've got to love the enthusiasm for tOSU from Newsome (and Hall). |

Jonathan loved his visit to Columbus, calls the Buckeyes and Illini is leaders, and says he wants to visit tOSU as much as possible in the coming months.

Perhaps in the wake of the C.Scott fiasco coach Ginn will let his guys declare earlier rather than later. I think it's safe to say the G-Ville "secret" is out of the bag.
disclaimer...I am not now or would I ever slam Scott for his choice. Fiasco lends to the "lock" talk about him and his actual pick. |

Jonathan was blown away in Columbus but says he will definitely take other visits. Illinois is a definite destination.

Film from Scouting Ohio My take: Long frame...reminds me of Curtis Terry. He can hold plenty of good weight in the upper and lower body. Solid change of direction and lateral movement...sinks hips and explodes out of change. He is raw which hands and attacking blocks, but the motor is impressive.

I thought this kid had the most impressive first step of any of the DE's I've seen in this 09 Ohio class... He actually reminds me of Jamel Turner on some the plays, with just the first step explosion, and quickness at getting at the QB..
He is still raw, but to be honest, he's alot more polished than I expected, at least in the film provided.. Obviously has to add weight.. but Im very excited about this prospect |

Comical and pathetic, but that is what has become the norm for Steve Patterson. |

Jonathan says he will attend tOSU's spring game with Mike Edwards, Marcus Hall and Travis Freeman. The Buckeyes are Mom's favorite also.
