i never really heard of him when i saw him play and i didn't think much of him as a college quarterback prospect when i did. after i saw him he was moved to wide out apparently and looked really good from what i have read and heard. he did seem really athletic though for a quarterback and i would like to see him play some receiver for sure. i probably have some film on him at qb if i can locate the tape. i moved in december so my crap is still strewn about from box to box.

Boy had better work on his bench. I hadn't lifted in six months up until two weeks ago, and even then I put up 225 eight times (and I'm 47 years old, 6'0", and 215 with most of it on my gut). With weight training these days, there's no excuse for any football to not be able to max out on the bench at 1 1/2 times his weight (in his case, 270).

Duane really likes him. He considers Hartline one of the best athletes in the entire class this year. I think people want to see Hartline play a full year at WR to see what kind of numbers he can put up. The athleticism is clearly there. The limited number of scholies we have to offer this year is going to make the coaches even more selective than usual.

Do you think we should take all three Orton, Hartline and Robiskie?
I think we should take the two best and find a burner OOS. All three of the Ohio guys seems to be Wideouts and not flankers (or possesion receivers if you may). Any thoughts? |

i doubt we take more than one of the three honestly. nothing against any of their talent but with us limited in scholarships and being a big name across the country i image we will be lucky to land/offer half of the top 20 in ohio this year. it is just a numbers crunch. the players we do get from ohio that aren't the cream of the crop (boone and o'neal) will probably have to wait for their offers longer than usual. kids with questionable grades or test scores may get snubbed all together. sucks for the buckeye wannabees but it is a good situation to be in for the team. being picky in recruiting is a luxury that scrub squads like indiana and northwestern can ill afford.

I wonder who Duane thinks the Bucks should take out those three. By the way VG I liked how you described Duane as a "compulsive eater", that's good stuff. How fat is he anyways, I've never seen him.

i decided to edit myself down a notch or twenty because none of this belongs on harline's thread. so i will just leave it at 'medically dangerous' to answer good guy.

BIATCH: Are you insinuating the Duane should change his last name to "Lard"?

again none of my opinions on this subtopic belong here, perhaps on a different part of the forum, but not on hartline's thread, so i edit myself down for now.
speaking of hartline, i have found a box of about twenty unidentified camcorder tapes. i imagine my glenoak game is in there somewhere. i will still try and find some/any film on him and see what i can post for all to enjoy. Last edited by BIATCHabutuka; 03-02-2004 at 08:53 PM. |
