Great job Jamar. This guy has made an incredible amount of improvement on the offensive end from last year.

I grew up in the Lima area, and I couldn't be more proud of Butler. The way he has carried himself over the last two years, and his success on the court has been a great way to get rid of the memory of Greg Simpson(also from the Lima area).

Also from the Lima area and played against Butler. He is doing now what he did in high school.
As for Greg Simpson you are right we try to get rid of that memory.

I've said in other posts how much I think he's a great player and probably my favorite Buckeye, so I won't go into that again here. All I'll say here is he's so good and he's only a sophomore--what a player.

This should have been an easy choice after the 2 games Butler had this week. Getting 42 points on 21 shots, while efficently handling the ball, is outstanding point guard play.

His D has been awesome. At the end of the first half yesterday, the Illinois backcourt had a total of 2 points, (vs 18 for tOSU IIRC). That might be the most impressive part of his game IMO. I really noticed his ball handling skills yesterday - the IU freshman was really badgering Je'Kel about halfway through the 2nd half (Butler was out for a breather). The Bucks didn't get anything done offensively. When Butler returned, the guy backed off (I assume because Butler would have smoked him down the court), and things felt much more "in sync". The announcers talked about the fact that the offense returned when Dials returned, but I think it really hinged on Butler. Same at Michigan - the Bucks were OK without Dials, but scoring was difficult without Butler. IMO he's a locked in starter for the next 2.5 years, regardless of the Thad 5. Congrats Jamar.
