Back to the mound
Ross Oltorik, who served as a reserve quarterback last season, will not play football this fall to concentrate on baseball, Tressel said.
The sophomore pitcher from Cincinnati Moeller came to OSU on a baseball scholarship and played for the Buckeyes in the NCAA Tournament in the spring. He was part of a staff that Florida State shelled for 37 runs in an NCAA game.
"We need to get a deeper pitching staff, if you haven't noticed, and Ross needs to be a part of that," Tressel said.
