This is what I kind of expected going into the weekend (read my post above). However, I was both surprised and disappointed in the two games we lost. To have a lead like we did in both games and lose them both is the obvious disappointment. We have good starting pitching and that was evident. Our hitting has been the surprise of the season so far and thats great if we can keep it up or even improve as the season rolls on. The bullpen is where we need to pick it up and the errors, my pet peeve, are killing us. Overall I think our boys are in pretty good shape here early on and we should dominate over spring break if they continue to play this well. An 8-2 or 9-2 start to the season is more than I think most of us would have predicted this winter and I'll definitely take it.
