I think we have a great shot at landing Dallas. He will most likely improve over the next two years and I expect he will become a big time recruit. |

It seems like landing Lighty will become not only more of a desire but a must... I like the ties between these two guys.

5/30/05 Lauderdale playing for the Cleveland Titans at the Tournament of Champions this weekend....Is not afraid of contact and can run the floor. Dallas listed Syracuse, North Carolina, Illinois, Ohio State and Michigan State. None have offered to this point. |

6/22/05 Lauderdale and Solon attended the Ohio State team camp this past week. Dallas averaged 17.5 points, 13 rebounds and 4.8 blocks per game last year as a junior. His top five is Ohio State, Syracuse, North Carolina, Illinois and Michigan State. He did mention that he is impressed by OSU and sees them winning a national championship in a few years. |

7/6/05 Good Article about Matta and Company hitting the three major summer camps going on during July. The staff can evaluate from July 6-15 and July 22-31, with July 16-21 considered a "dark" period. Article touches on who could be the next addition to the 2006 class. The following prospects of interest to Buckeye fans will be in action... Greg Oden Mike Conley Daequan Cook Jamil Tucker (could be the next verbal to the 2006 class) Luke Harangody Thaddeus Young Josh Chichester Raymar Morgan Kosta Koufus O.J. Mayo Bill Walker Keenan Ellis Lance Thomas Dallas Lauderdale DeJuan Pursley Aaron Pogue Eric Gordon Yancey Gates B.J. Mullens <!-- / message --><!-- sig --> |

7/7/05 From BSB...as 44820 mentioned, Dallas did not attend the ABCD camp due to an illness in the family. Dallas confirms that OSU is his leader and that he does have an offer in hand, which he got from Matta shortly after his hiring. He mentions that he thinks OSU could be a national championship caliber team real soon and he would like to be a part of that. |

Sounds a lot like Kosta and Dallas are the 07 package Matta's working on, Thad is truly something else.

It looks more and more like the #1 target for the 2007 class is Lauderdale. I know Matta and staff are very high on him.
