I believe we will only take 4 players in the 2007 class and with Diebler already verbaled, Lauderdale is next....the class will fill up quickly in my opinion.

Awesome, awesome news. This recruiting bonanza is so regional, it really is more exciting to me than if the Buckeyes somehow landed a big national guy (like Thaddeus Young) as a result of Thad's momentum. That's just my take, as I always like to see the Buckeyes get the best from Ohio in football too. I'm not knocking guys like Othello who want to join the team, not at all, I just love to see these chips falling like they are.
Hey Kosta, come on down! If you want to join the gang, I guess we can wait till you've taken your visits and what-not, but as anyone can see, we're not used to going through that kind of process anymore! Within the span of about one year, we've landed Mullen, Mayes, Bell, Cook, Lighty, Oden, Conley, Chichester, Diebler, Offutt, Hunter, and now likely Lauderdale. Count 'em...12 new Buckeyes!

You are right hab, regional success is huge. Basketball does not require that many players, and there are tons of blue chippers in Ohio and Indiana.
When you factor in that we are not only reaping the area, but landing 5-star after 5-star, including the best recruit in decades in Oden, then you can't help but dance like the animated banana when dwelling on the success Thad has had.

In my opinion, Lauderdale is a HUGE get for OSU. He has a lot of potential and will dominate these next two years in high school, mark my words..
Big man with athletic ability and a shot blocker.....exactly who we need in this class.

both...Dallas is a great student (Scout reports a 3.0+ GPA) and from all accounts a real humble young man who is exactly the kind of kid you want in your program...

I've seen him play a few times. I have no idea what he reminds me of. He is so tall and athletic and he plays outstanding defence. He completely changes the offensive philosophy. His inside game needs work. I guess in a way hes a lower energy but taller Ben Wallace. In a way...I don't like my own comparision.
