there is a video of the incident at wsaz.com for those who want to see it. Looks like OJ got in some guys face after a nice dunk. Then it just looks like the refs pile it on him, trying to get him ejected. It even looks like one of the refs faked being bumped by OJ. What kind of officials do they have in West Virginia anyway?

Seems appropriate with the NBA's new scrutiny on flopping.

Whoa! Let's start with the sequence of what happened.

1. It was OJ who dunked.
2. He got T'd for catching the ball and walking away with it.
3. He bumps an opposing player who didn't get out of the way for him.
" Then it just looks like the refs pile it on him," trying to get him ejected. "
4. The refs break up the gathering and move OJ out of the way.
5. OJ grabs his balls (Both hands in his shorts - maybe he really gets off on his dunks.) then yanks his shorts in the "eat me" signal.
6. That earned him the second T and the ejection.
"It even looks like one of the refs faked being bumped by OJ. What kind of officials do they have in West Virginia anyway?
|
"
7. The ref appears to be grabbing his ball while on the floor. The only possible contact I could see was a bump in the shoulder or with the body down low. Nothing to hurt his balls.
My read: The ref likely did his own acting job, but OJ got (and earned) his ejection before then.

That ref should be ashamed of himself for taking that dive! The last time I saw such a fake, it was when I was wasting my time watching that worthless World Cup. That being sad, Mayo still acted like a punk IMO.
