My dad actually was at the game, he scored 69 of the team's 90 points. Bellevue hit a 3 at the buzzer to win it, 93-90. I cant wait to see Diebler next year in scarlet and gray.

it still amazes how far diebler has to go in reality, and he even has the 3ball on his side...

Morning Journal
Diebler's 69 notenough for Upper

BELLEVUE -- Most people in attendance at last night's Northern Ohio League matchup between Upper Sandusky and Bellevue were there for one reason. To see Jon Diebler.
The crowd got what they came for as Diebler put up 69 points. But it was the host Redmen who got what they wanted with a 93-90 win courtesy of D.J. Whinnery's buzzer-beating 3-pointer.
Diebler, who scored all 26 of the Rams' fourth-quarter points, drained a 3 from the corner with two defenders draped all over him with 17 seconds left. With the score knotted at 90, Bellevue worked the clock down and Whinnery let it fly with just one second left. When the ball fell through the bottom of the net, the Redmen fans stormed the court and mobbed the entire Redmen team to celebrate the second win in as many years over the Rams at Bellevue.
Cont'd...

It's truly amazing how much Diebler has carried that team this season. Without him, Upper would be a sub .500 team. FWIW, I've got to give kudos to the kid from Bellevue (D.J. Whinnery) who hit the game winner last night. He's my good buddy's brother in law, so props go out to him. Oh, and props also go out to Diebler and his 69 points.

not seeing it in the post, but i went to youtube for it. nice find. awesome. i'm getting goosebumps watching him. the arc means nothing. he's just as happy shooting from five feet behind it. unconscious shooting. how he's not a 5-star is beyond me. ehh... whatever. our opponents | |
