I was hoping the Butler job would not open up. I think that is one of the jobs Groce might go after.

Whew! I have a feeling, though, that when Groce does eventually leave, it will be for a bigger program than Butler anyway (or rather, since Butler has been very successful in recent years, a bigger conference than the Horizon). |

That is some good news, but there is no doubt in my mind that he will get offered by at least 1 if not more schools...

Since Donavan is staying at Florida, I hope the 'Cats don't go after Matta. Although with the recruits that he has coming in and the support he has from the administration/alumni/fans at Ohio State; I can't see him even thinking about a move.

I think i heard Smith say that "Matta has already expressed no interest in coaching elsewhere so there is no reason to give other schools permission to interview him" a week or so ago.

Groce has the luxury of waiting around for a program that's the right fit. I think he could wait for premier non BCS job.
