Buckaholic offiically picking OSU
Kyle was put on the spot today on a Kansas radio station, on where he thought Malik will end up. He came through proclaiming the Buckeyes to have the best shot at landing Malik. He lists scUM and Oregon as 2nd/ 3rd followed by Kansas. An offical announcement should be by Thursday. Maybe Andy Geiger will finally be given a way to fill the Schott up.

These guys put him on the spot...and I respect the fact that he told the listeners his prediction. He has put a ton of hard work in to this whole process, and given interested readers great reports. If you have followed this thing...most other schools have considered us out of it, as late as Sunday. Kyle is our link to the situation. True, being Buckeye fans we have expirienced our share of recruiting let downs....but in this certain case, he brought repectability to the OSU name to all the doubters. It's a bold pick, but I'm behind him 100%.

Just so that nobody gets the wrong idea, let me say I have no reason to doubt that Kyle feels that way and that it truly is possible. I like his coverage a lot. I would just feel better personally if he would have lied

Why would he lie? I don't see anything positive coming out of that besides possibly not getting some fans' hopes up. In this Mailk saga, I would have to bet that the local guru for each of the schools involved would say the same thing. However, like you said, its your opinion and you are entitled to it. I prefer someone's blunt honesty whether its what I want to hear or not.
