Kudos to Holic
I wanted to start this thread before Malik announced because his decision does not change my sentiment. Buckaholic has been a wonderful addition to the basketball recruiting world. Great research and well thought out posts. His info on Malik has made it fun to follow this saga.
Because he has expressed a belief that Malik will choose OSU he will be either a Goat or a God come tomorrow (especially on Bnuts where the distinction between saying what might happen and what will happen is often lost). I hate to see the 'gurus' make predictions because they are just setting themselves up to be slammed. I love Duane Long because he does great assessments of talent and keeps in touch with the kids. He - like most gurus - gets in trouble because he then guesses what might happen. When he is wrong folks jump all over him like he is a fraud, not realizing that those 'predictions' are at best 1% of his contribution.
What I like best about Holic is that when he posts he not only tells you what he thinks but gives you the background info and logic to understand why he thinks it. If he is right about Malik you will be able to look at the info he has posted and see why he was right. But the same is true if he is wrong.
So thanks Holic. Hope you are right, but either way you are the man.

I will 2nd that.
I am not that interested in the Malik drama but I have to admit to being impressed with the quality of the work 'holic has done. It seems he has found his true "calling" and a great outlet for his enthusiasm about the Buckeyes.
Keep up the great work!

Yeah, I agree with you two. Almost makes it a shame that he is also BrettGoBlue.

Great post...Kyle has never backed down in the face of scrutiny or dissenting reports. That is what I will remember from this saga...not once did he doubt himself or his info.

Hey guys, just wanted to thank everyone for the extremely kind words. I'm glad my approach is one that makes it worth the read. I don't want to go out on a limb and make a prediction on something without showing a background as to why I may believe what I do.
It covers the bases and gives logic as to why I say what I say. I truly appreciate everything. It's been fun. Will be even better if Malik picks OSU

Randy Ayers son
HEY HOLIC..
Former OSU coach Randy Ayers son Ryan just committed to ND to play basketball do you know much about him and was OSU after him?
Last week Luke Zeller committed making 3 top 100 kids coming in for fall 2005.
