I've also seen speculation that it could be a change of assistants. Either way, I don't like it, but it could be something else so I don't want to jump to conclusions and start ripping the AD. But like I said, if it is...

ESPN Radio & TV News is reporting the OSU Basketball Coach Jim O'Brien has been dismissed from The Ohio State University.
Paraphrase: "Jim was involved in some type of NCAA violation regarding an improper benefit provided to a recruit who's family was in dire straights. The recruit did NOT sign with OSU"
This is as yet unconfirmed at OSU.
Very sad day indeed.
