The only one that I thought was questionable (by the way they call charges nowadays) was the one on the jumper... But even with that one I think they called it the wrong thing... I think it was meant to be a push-off call...
Charging calls are horribly misused all over college b-ball anymore... I'm a season ticket holder at UD, and I can't even count how many charges have been called this year from a defensive player stepping under a guy while he's already in the air... You never used to be able to do that... But they call it a charge almost every time anymore...

What about the one Scheyer took when Reid was going to the hole. Still moving, and wasn't even close to square with him. Basically was sliding and got there with his shoulder and got a charge. You see the same thing?

I don't remember that one... I TIVOed the game and zipped through a couple parts... Where abouts is it? I'll have to go rewatch it... Sounds like, if it happened like you said, what I've been seeing a lot this year with charging calls... It's horribly called nationwide...

2nd half.....Reid (FSU's Center) takes the ball to the hoop and picks up a charging foul. Scheyer slid in ridiculously late, didn't even get in front of him AT ALL. Takes a charge with his shoulder, while moving into the player.
I don't normally look to commentators for verification, but in this case I'll use Jay Bilas, who said it was a terrible call.
Bilas also commented after the first half that FSU had to change their approach around the basket because they were afraid to pick up charging fouls, and the charging fouls were terrible calls.
It's one thing to make a mistake and make a bad call. It's another when officials make consistently terrible calls, especially in the case of Duke. Duke is known as a school of floppers, and rightfully so, yet get bull[censored] charges called in their favor every game.
It's amazing. I'd love for you to find the charge in the second half between Scheyer and Reid and let me know what you think. I looked for it on Youtube but unsuccessfully.

Greg Paulus just fooled the refs into giving him 3 FTs after getting touched (barely) with both feet on the ground 3 seconds after shooting a 3-pointer....
The guy came up, barely tapped his HAND, and Paulus flopped AGAIN
Hell it looked like he was hip-checked.....
It's going to be hilarious to watch Duke go down in flames against the first quality team they play in the NCAAs this year.

my favorite part of that exchange was the official coming up to Oglesby and explaining why he called a foul......I swear, these officilas must feel like dip-[censored]s every time they make a call and then realize they were suckered into a call
Again, it amazes me Duke can continually flop, and get away with it

I cannot stand to watch ACC basketball. The officials always give UNC and Duke every call. The other night when UNC was playing GT Hansbrough should have been called for 3 seconds, over the back, travel, and offensive foul at least 15 times. The guy is a walking violation and they let him consistenly get away with it. Last year they called it in the tournament and that IMO is why UNC and Duke don't win more championships. They get advantageous officiating during the season and in the tournament the officiating isn't all ACC guys. They have enough talent as is the officiating in that conference needs to be non-biased. Watch a game in that conference when those two are playing...its ridiculous.
