I'm happy my vCash is still alive, but I feel dirty about it. Hopfully Puke loses in the next round.

why not use their last timeout at halfcourt instead of taking that half-court shot?
They ended the game with TO in the bank. Catch the pass, take a dribble, call timeout.
Set up an out of bounds play.
Will never make sense to me. High School and college teams rarely do it.

he clearly was, but in the end, I don't think it mattered much. Duke took it down and missed anyways. Also, it was at about the 4:30 mark.

I thought so too, that he stepped on the line before he 'saved' the ball in the corner; but I'm pretty sure Duke didn't score on that possession, so it didn't really help them.

^Duke missed the shot but how much more time would have that left on the clock. The [censored]ing officials were absolutely horrible. In the first half Butler got called for every touch foul and Duke was over the back 6-7 times and pushed the Butler players 5-6 more times. I can't watch another [censored]ing North Carolina or Duke game. They get away with murder.

Paulus was in line for the women's restroom when he knocked that ball back into play. That was a horrible non-call.
Dook didn't make the normal BS shots they make down the stretch to put a team away. Belmont had every opportunity, and they didn't take advantage.

He was in-bounds when he left his feet, but as he called time-out, which you cannot do anymore when falling OB, his foot came down by the cheerleaders. And it was obvious. And the ref standin right there, completely missed it.
But Duke took a quick shot and missed anyways so it didn't really alter the game.
