be careful...I made an argument Duke isn't as athletic as they used to be and got attacked.
It's true though. Over the last 5 years, Duke has gotten less and less athletic.
They had a great season, but they've been mediocre by Duke's standards for the last couple seasons.
I don't see it getting much better either, unless they start recruiting more athletic players. 5 star role players only get you so far. Paulas, Singler, King, Zoubek, Lamar Thomas aren't the cream of the crop people made them out to be. Good players yes, good enough to win championships, no. |
