Turner's ability to dish the rock and Kofous continuing to develop his passing out of the post will only help Diebler light it up from outside. That is why I love this '07 class...you have Kofous who is just a nightmare of a matchup for almost anyone, you have the bruiser down low in Lauderdale, you have the guy who is in range the moment he steps in the gym in Diebler, and then you have the guy who can run the show and play some solid D in Turner. This class just has a little bit of everything...

I actually know Evan pretty well I played basketball with him for about 5 years, and him being good enough to actually warrant divison 1 interest is pretty surprising. He was always good, but always was the second best player on all the teams I played on with him.
However, if I were to be asked out of all the players that I played with which was going to reach his caliber, I would have guessed Evan just because he's always had the best all around game. He can really do everything, but I think on the higher levels he might be a case of Jack of all trades, Master of None.
We'll see though, and I'm very glad Evan took a scholarship from the team I follow, should be fun.

the kid has upwards of 20 offers, someone must thing hes not going to be the "master of none" at the next level. so many of these hs kids get pegged, playing an all around game. two things you have to realize
1 these kids going to top shelf d1 kids cant be graded at a high school level with only a few exceptions. they are so far above the avg hser that their ability is almost negated by an average player.
2 they cant be judged at all on film, in football you can watch a highlight video and peg a kids ability and what he has. i dont or cant. i have yet to see anyone do it with great success without the whole game film. even then you get kids who are hot/cold and are rated poorly.
on a side note, nearly all of the analysis and viewing is done at the aau level. elite level aau teams made up of city/regional/state teams give a more realistic view of the kid. one reason, he is surrounded by simlar talent hell face at the next level.
the second i have come to learn is that 20 some college mens basketball coaches know more than me. i may question in game coaching and some recruits, but 19 top levle guys dont recruit a guy b/c duke does. it just doenst work that way. these guys watch these kids eat, sleep, breathe during the summer evaluation.
