Reported on ESPN bottom Line........Huge loss for UC......some team is about to pick up one of the best PG's in the country...i'd assume he'll be able to go wherever he wants after the year he just had

Anytime there is a coaching change.....transfers are sure to follow.....I would expect a few players from Indiana to go elsewhere.

Downey To Visit USC

Former Cincinnati PG Devan Downey (5-9 165) will make a visit to USC this weekend as he begins the process of deciding on a new place to play according to his coach at Chester High DeAndre Scott. Downey officially announced Monday his plans to transfer. Scott said Downey has also heard from Clemson, Florida, Wake Forest, Kansas State and Ole Miss. Downey has not scheduled any other visits thus far. As a freshman at Cincinnati this past season Downey averaged 12 points and 4 assists per game.

Downey Sets Next Visit

5-9 Devan Downey, who is transferring from Cincinnati, will make an official visit to Ole Miss this weekend according to his former high school coach DeAndre Scott. The visit will put Downey together with former Cincinnati interim head coach Andy Kennedy. Downey has visited USC and is also trying to set up a visit to Kansas State where former Cincinnati head coach Bob Huggins is now the coach.
