They aren't getting many second chances and we've gotten a couple steals with about 4 blocks thus far. The Bucks are off and running on offense with everyone, except Harris, contributing.
Just as I say this Lighty gets another steal after the break. Hunter picking up nicely on the boards.

Lightys a little out of control right now picking up a foul and losing a couple turnovers in the last minute of play. The action is very, very fast right now. VMI is getting off a shot about 3 seconds into their possession. I don't know if its our defense but the arent shooting well. Cook with a 3, 29-17 Bucks. Lewis missed a wide open dunk! 29-19 now. Cook turned it over, VMI ball.

VMI getting some extra shots now and starting to hit a couple shots. We need to slow it down just a little and move the basketball. 29-22 Bucks.
It seems we are in pretty good position on the boards but the long rebounds are getting us.
Another 3 for VMI 29-25. Butler alley oop to Hunter, slam and the foul! 31-25 at another timeout. Hunter going to the line.

Mattas had a number of different lineups in the game. I think the combination of Butler, Conley,Cook,Lewis and Hunter is our best right now. Lighty is playing a little fast right now but was good early. He should get it settled down. Hunter, Cook, Twig, Butler and Lewis in the game for us. Hunter misses the freebie but gets a big block on defense again.
Twig is really hustling, I'm impressed. Butler two more. 33-25.

VMI steals the inbounds and scores a bunny just as Conley gets in the game, not his fault, VMI called for intentional foul. Butler hits one of two. Buck ball. Cook drills a long 3 and has 11 points now. 37-27 Bucks

5:51 left in the first half. Conley going to the line for 1 & 1. Missed,gets his rebound then loses it out of bounds. 
Too many put backs now for VMI. Still playing the press and causing some problems right now. Cook beats the press with a sweet layup and another quick hitter for Lewis.
VMI comes back with a 3. 41-32 Bucks. Wow nice layup Conley! Down to Cook again whew! 45-32. Cook scoring at will now.
