I'd have a couple pitchers with pretty much anyone. If Titus wanted to drink a couple pitchers, I'd buy.

...before you ask, yes you can borrow 20 bucks.

![]() Wait...twenty bucks? Might as well stay home and drink spoiled apple cider. |

20 bucks at Maxwell's on a Sunday night back in the day would have bought you 80 pitchers. Dang spoiled kids. |

The cheapest I've ever got a pitcher (that I paid for) was...5.50. I wish I was older...and had went to college. |

We're not the owners charging a few dozen times more than they paid at the same age.

Even as recently as 2002, Four Kegs used to have this tremendous deal on Fridays called Beat the Clock. $1 pitchers from 12 to 1. $2 pitchers from 1 to 2 and so forth until Happy Hour started - then you left and went to another bar with a better deal.

Also, you had Oldfield's on 4th and Chittenden...multiple nights with pitcher deals: order a pitcher and get a free large pizza with up to 3 toppings (we loaded up for the week that night), buy a pitcher get a sub, mexican buffet night with pitcher purchase, etc. Awesome place. The Cornerstone always had great pitcher deals too...so did Sloopy's, Mean Mr. Mustards, The Edge, Skullys, and all of the old south campus places. Great times. |

Folks, I don't know about y'all, but I'm pretty darned impressed with Mr. Titus. I'm pretty certain he won't play in the NBA, but the moxie he shows to walk-on at OSU, start a blog that has a growing following, and to........put his name in for the NBA draft.......shows not only moxie but some serious stones. He may not be an NBA all-star, or an all Big Tenner, but I'll wager Buckylee several pitchers of premium (not that swill he usually drinks) draught that we hear about Mr. Titus as an outstanding businessman in whatever field he chooses.
He seems to have the knack for the spotlight (for doing good things). ![]() ![]() ![]() |
