Yes it was...
It was by far the loudest women's basketball game I've watched outside of Tennessee. I don't watch much women's basketball though....
The one girl, Allen, is a key player and I hope they continue to get her the ball.

OSU takes over first in Big Ten
Tuesday, January 30, 2007
THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. It's time to stop calling Star Allen's big games a surprise.
The sophomore forward had career-highs of 21 points and 13 rebounds as No. 5 Ohio State beat No. 10 Purdue, 64-55, on Monday night to take sole possession of first place in the Big Ten.
Allen went into the Purdue game scoring 9 points per contest this season, but she had averaged 15 points in the four games leading to Monday's showdown.

the only problem with Women's Basketball is that sometimes (and only sometimes) the color commentators have gone to the Joe Theismann School of Broadcasting and reacting to every play like it's the best play they've ever seen.
I understand being enthusiastic, but the lady doing color commentary tonight is as annoying as Dick Vitale on Mountain Dew and Red Bull....

I usually find it is less annoying when watching women's BB to turn the volume down for the duration. The heads in the studio are at least as irritating as the commentators at the game. Great win by the ladies though.

DAVE UMBERGER ASSOCIATED PRESS Purdue?s FahKara Malone, right, goes after a loose ball with Ohio State?s Maria Moeller in the clash of Big Ten leaders.
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. ? On the bus ride to the basketball game yesterday afternoon, Star Allen remembered the last time Ohio State played Purdue in Mackey Arena.
That game, on New Year?s Day last year, was hardly a holiday
