I guess at Ohio State I would like to see more than just Big 10 titles and if he doesn't change his philosophy this coming season those will start coming to an end. The state of Ohio is one of the most fertile states for high school girls basketball players.

Purdue has a chance to unseat OSU if they stay healthy this year and have a better recruiting class coming in than OSU. Illinois is in on some of the top recruits in the country and she is turning heads (Rutgers type recruits as she was the recruiting coord.). PSU may have one of the top three classes in the country this year... after recovering from the late Rene years.

Foster continues to do the same old thing and is hardly ever mentioned by any big name recruits. We have the best facilities in the country and can't draw a whiff from most of the top players. Matta is doing it with his energy and effort but we don't see the same from the women's side. His program continues to draw few fans... about 7th in the Big 10 but he makes the most money. It is time for him to be accountable.

We shall see how the point guard does... but we already have 2 point guards who have started many games in the program. Will this one player who is slight of build make a difference? Time will tell... but she was not recruited by UCONN or UT if that means anything...

I see her as a Jamie Lewis type player. One that is decent but will not take the team to the next level.

Foster lost out on the two recruits he wanted mostly in this class. The post out of Columbus and the one out of Beavercreek. Losing 2 top players this close to home has to mean something. If it was on the men's side... you would hear people calling for Thad's head.

Foster won when the Big 10 was really down... probably last in the power conferences. We shall see what happens as the league improves with these new coaches making some moves and showing some great recruiting energy.

I would not go that far. I have seen video of the PG from N. Y. and when it comes to ballhandling she has a little bit of Pistol Pete in her. There could have been other reasons that UT or UConn did not recruiter besides her basketball ability. She did verbal awfully early to Ohio State.

With regards to attendance, I think for women's basketball there was a big mistake to move them to the Schot. When you don't get more than 5000 people into that place, it's almost like playing in an open gym. However, Ohio State women's basketball might draw a little better if it was more entertaining, i.e. up-tempo

Aw... c'mon LitlBuck.... do you really think anyone will be allowed to play with a "Pistol Pete" type of a game under Foster? I have seen two of her games... and some of that stuff won't fly on the college level.

Wait until the Buckeye Planet "Crazy" who has a little more reputation sees your posts... Oh My!

If Foster does not change his philosophy this year, he should be ejected. I know that we have won 3 Big 10 titles but teams are starting to catch us as you have mentioned. I guess we shall see. Do you have any idea who might be on Foster's recruiting radar if Hill is not coming here

Obviously dissapointed to see us lose Ruef...She is good friends with Harmon and most had us as the favorite, but she didn't even visit, like she was suppossed to before her decision...

As for style you will see a change this year....NOt sure on how much, but there will be a change...We really lack a true shooter or two to be an elite team tho...That is what I hope that Foster is out there trying to pull in...

Lavendar will be a great player for us this year...

Heard Amber Stokes is very fast on the court...

I think Foster is done recruiting for the season... not good enough to break in with the elite and perhaps losing to 3 other Big Ten schools. Illinois is still in on a few really top players. I am not sure if PSU is done or not, but they are turning heads.
