Ronnie Steward wasn?t even born when Dennis Hopson and Jerry Francis were leaving their mark on the Ohio State men?s basketball program.
So suffice it to say that Steward and his Eastmoor Academy teammates were slow to buy into the buzz about their new assistant coaches. "My dad told me a lot of different stories about coach Hopson, but they really didn?t register with me since that was before my time," said Steward, a standout senior guard who has signed with Akron.
