No problem with a fellow Irish alum getting his due...
He deserves it afterall.
Besides, LeBron is big Ohio State fan. What's not to love about a partnership between the two?
He could be our Snoop Dogg.

My point exactly. Why would you put a LeBron symbol on a Buckeye jersey when he was never a Buckeye in the first place?? He is from Ohio, but it just makes no sense to me.

Not crazy about the logo. Not crazy about the entire idea. I think as a Buckeye fan...someone who follows one of the most storied and legendary programs of college sport, I've just come to hate all change in uniform as a whole. Now, if it comes down to helping the performance, you have to do what you have to do. As far as the LJ logos...he hasn't even won a champioship yet. At least let the guy end his career and retire first.

Jordan didn't go to UC and they wore his "Jumpman" symbol on their jerseys.
It's just a brand logo. It's not like the "Ohio State" has been replaced by a 2 ft. picture of LBJ.

He is a buckeye. I'm telling you, if the rule would have been in place when Lebron was in high school, he would have been a Buckeye.
He is a HUGE Ohio State fan(always has been) and he loves the bucks. Pretty much everyone from Akron is a buckeye fan. Huge fan base their, even in the Catholic schools.

I agree with Cornerback6. He hasn't done anything in his NBA career. Now if it was a Dwyane Wade logo for Marquette I might have a different point of view. He already has a Ring and a Finals MVP, and his jersey is already retired at Marquette.

I remember hearing this as well. That if he hadn't gone pro he would've been a Buckeye.
But even so, I don't really think that's the point. I think it's just like the Air Jordan line...just because a team wore Air Jordan shoes doesn't mean that they had an association with MJ. Just means they're sweet shoes.
