Will Matta's past haunt the Buckeyes
While I don't really put a lot of value in this issue, my friend who is a Xavier fan just called me to say "Payback is a B*@#h."
He was [censored]ed when Matta promised he wasn't going to leave and take the OSU job and now he thinks Xavier will beat us because of that. I know, I know, I asked him, do you really believe that? He said yes, he said the NCAA tourney is all about emotion and that Xavier will have that extra drive. Still, there are only three senior who played for Matta (I don't know if he recruited any of the other kids).
So anyway, the players play games (not coaches) but I wondered what any of you thought about this. The announcers today said that Xavier keeps asking to play tOSU and we keep turning them down. They also said "be careful what you ask for."
I'll second that notion as I think they are outmatched at almost every position (especially if we have the inside/outside game going like we did today). |

Xavier will be highly motivated, but I'm sure the OSU players know that Thad use to coach there and will be motivated to win for him.

Our talent will just crush Xavier.
I would've been more worried playing BYU, they are good 3 point shooters.
Xavier, I think, doesn't stand a chance.
