Biancardi could get second chance at college coaching
Wright State's former head coach is giving every indication that he wants to lead a basketball team again.

Fran Fraschilla says Paul Biancardi is doing the right things.
Biancardi, the former Wright State basketball coach who parted ways with WSU in March 2006 after being found guilty of NCAA rules violations during his time as an assistant coach at Ohio State, has secured a job in the business with a branch of ESPN.com. He's also making himself visible.

April 7, 1997: Ohio State hires Jim O'Brien as men's basketball coach to replace Randy Ayers. Paul Biancardi, who was an assistant coach under O'Brien at Boston College, joins him in Columbus.
May 3, 1998: Slobodan "Boban" Savovic begins his official visit to OSU. Later, a litany of accusations arose involving Savovic and Biancardi, including improper financial and academic help. Savovic played four years at Ohio State, from 1998-2002.

This has been rumored for a while but is now complete as Biancardi has served his penance with the NCAA in terms on being banned from recruiting. That punishment, of course, dates back to the Ohio State sanctions and Biancardi's involvement with former Buckeye Boban Savovic.
