Xavier's big men averaged 8.1 three point attempts per game during the season. For Tennessee it was 4.3.
For Memphis that number is 1.2.
Translation - their is nobody on Memphis who should draw Oden away from the basket, which is what has taken him out of the last two games. Memphis is very athletic and very fast - but when they cut to the hoop the big guy should be waiting for them. Look for some zone.
We built a lead on Tenn last night with Oden, Hunter, Harris and Cook all on the bench for an extended period (only three players in that gamed logged more than 20 minutes). If we are awake by 5:15 I feel good about this one.
