The Courier-Journal
LEXINGTON, Ky. ? There is a timeline in one entrance to the new Joe Craft Center that depicts University of Kentucky basketball coaches through the years.
There's no timetable for finding the next man whose picture will adorn that display.
Reached by phone yesterday, UK athletic director Mitch Barnhart -- the man who will seek out and hire Tubby Smith's replacement -- declined any comment about the impending coaching search.
"I'm just not going to answer any questions," Barnhart said.

Who has what it takes for Kentucky?
Gonzaga?s Few should get look, but Texas? Barnes should get job
MARK STORY; Lexington (Ky.) Herald-Leader

LEXINGTON, Ky. ? At the University of Kentucky, excellence is not the standard for a men?s basketball coach.
That?s not nearly enough performance.
Perfection is closer to the mark.
So the man who will replace Tubby Smith needs to be a coach whose fastbreak is so frenetic, it makes the Phoenix Suns look like Princeton. He must be a recruiter who can go into living rooms and make Roy Williams and North Carolina cry uncle.
The new UK coach will need to be a ?personality? of enough heft to occupy the job once held by larger-than-life personas named Rupp and Pitino.
Oh, and this is a given: He must be a coach who can ensure many and frequent trips to college basketball?s final weekend (aka the Final Four) for the Kentucky Wildcats.

Billy Donovan did a pretty poor job of deflecting the attention from himself in that presser the other day. I have to think UF would match any monetary offers tossed his way, but is the job itself enough to convince him to head there?
