I think that Ohio State vs. Florida would be the opposite of what happened in football. In football, Ohio State was the overwhelming favorite, and only the nut-jobs were picking Florida to win.
I'd imagine that Florida would be the overwhelming favorite to win the championship vs. Ohio State. They're a great team who has hit their peak.
Hopefully, the underdog would win that game, as well.
But Florida has quickly become my least favorite Div-I team. It would suck to lose to Florida.

Since scUM is no longer competetive, I have been focusing my hate on Noah/UF too. I would love to beat them, but I'm not sure how my heart would make it through to the end of the game. |

To be considered the Champ, you need to beat the Champ. The Gators are the reigning Champs. I think that we need to beat Florida. If we were to beat UCLA and win the title, we would still have that twenty-somethng point loss to the Gators hanging over us. We could talk about "early in the season" and "home court" until we're blue in the face, but what we really need is some head-to-head success against them. UF has pwned tOSU as of late. We can't do anything about it if they don't handle their business with UCLA, but I think it would be in our better interests to have a chance as "undisputed champs in the minds of all" for Florida to be our opponent. Of course, in my opinion, we would be more likely to walk out with the trophy if we meet UCLA instead. Hold up....I just found out that we still have to beat Georgetown before we get a shot either way. Let's Go Bucks!!

I want to play Florida, have all year since they beat us. I wanted to get UNC back too but that was not to be this year. Let's beat down G-town first, then we'll talk. 
this is a poorly done example of what I'd like to see. You guys can do better.

I personally would take any match-up we can get in the finals as that would mean we would have beaten Georgetown. This team has done some great things and when they play the game the way they can there are not many teams in the country that will even give them a game. However, at this point in the year those teams are the ones we will be playing.
Those that are saying they do not want to see Florida again are giving Florida fans more ammo than if the team just plays them again. For crying out loud... you scared to even play a team? Pathetic...
If we are able to put together another great 40 minutes of basketball and beat G-town I say bring on whoever and lets enjoy the chance to see these great players for yet another game. If they are on the short end of the score then so be it, as long as it is because the other team is better I can handle that. I hate to see teams that self destruct (see tOSU football team) leaving themselves to wonder what would have been if they played their best.. they may still have lost but then there would be no questions.
Reading these message boards for as long as I have I can almost assure those that are saying they are scared of Florida are already linked somewhere on a Fla message boards with their fans just blasting you for being chicken... congrats on your fame.

Ok, do I want Florida in a rematch for the NC? Yes, I think it would validate it, however, I think we stand a better chance against UCLA. I think that Florida rolling us so hard this year might work to our advantage, these Bucks aren't the same Bucks people say at the beginning of this year.
